<image:title>The Mission - Why do we believe genuine encounter can happen through learning more about ourselves as women?</image:title>
<image:caption>All creatures bear a certain resemblance to God, most especially man, created in the image and likeness of God. The manifold perfections of creatures - their truth, their goodness, their beauty - all reflect the infinite perfection of God. Consequently we can name God by taking his creatures' perfections as our starting point, "for from the greatness and beauty of created things comes a corresponding perception of their Creator. CCC #41 As the Catechism of the Catholic Church #41 tells us, “the manifold perfections of creatures… all reflect the infinite perfection of God.” This is especially true of man and woman, who are made in the image and likeness of God. By understanding ourselves on a deeper level—spiritually and biologically—we can come to know God in a deeper, more profound way.</image:caption>

      <image:title>The Mission - Body Literacy Education</image:title>
<image:caption>Body Literacy Education is teaching women about the biological reality of their bodies, especially regarding their fertility. This includes special attention to the basics of charting a cycle and health maintenance. While we are promoters of several approved methods of charting, we currently teach the FEMM (Fertility Education and Medical Management) method at the New Eve Foundation. This model focuses on cervical mucus observations coupled with at-home LH testing to give women a full picture of what is going on hormonally throughout the course of her cycle. FEMM is particularly applicable to the single woman, as she can pursue Medical Management with her upkept chart, should she feel that she needs it.</image:caption>

      <image:title>The Mission - Femininity Catechesis</image:title>
<image:caption>Femininity Catechesis is teaching women about the spiritual reality of their lives as women through the Church's teachings on womanhood, femininity, and the human person. Our approach to Femininity Catechesis centers on learning about what saints and theologians such as Pope St. John Paul II and St. Edith Stein wrote about the four identities of woman as daughter, sister, bride, and mother as well as the four aspects of the Feminine Genius: receptivity, sensitivity, generosity, and maternity.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - My name is Emily Vork Young.</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a FertilityCare Practitioner and FEMM Teacher-in-Training with a passion for femininity and body literacy. I have previous non-profit experience working as a Chastity Education Manager at a local pregnancy center. Through that unique opportunity, I was able to meet women where they were in the brokenness of our world. So many women have suffered because of a lack of understanding of their worth, their dignity, and their very bodies! I started my journey in instructing women on their fertility as a result and found that so many single women are excluded from the conversation on fertility education and suffer because of it. We, as women, have a right to the knowledge of our identity--body and soul--and New Eve wants to make that knowledge common. I once told my husband after an Introductory Session for prospective clients that if I heard one more woman ask why no one ever talked about female fertility, I was going to have to do something about it. Well, one more woman asked, and the fire beneath New Eve was lit. Through months of prayerful discernment, late nights working after babies went to bed, and a lot of help from some very talented people, New Eve came to be the apostolate that she is today. On behalf of New Eve, I want to thank you for your support, prayers, and encouragement as we all go on mission together to bring women to an encounter with Christ through the truth, beauty, and goodness of their femininity. Mary, the New Eve, pray for us!</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - My name is Abby Schmid.</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a FEMM Teacher-in-Training with a heart for evangelization. I have served on the New Eve Board of Directors since the beginning and am delighted to be serving New Eve as the Director of Retreats and Outreach. I grew up in Dayton, Ohio and have worked in youth and young adult ministry for several years before finding my way to this position. I have been living in a young adult community and have witnessed my own life and the lives of the women I’ve lived with transformed by the power of learning body literacy in the context of prayer and community. In my last few years as a full time youth minister, the Lord highlighted to me a particular calling of helping women discover the security of their identity as daughters of God and how to live in that freedom and authority. I am passionate and excited to be on mission with this organization that meets such an important need in our world today!</image:caption>
